Brigitte Mathé (MBL) is a French contempory painter born in 1953 who lives & works in Évry-Courcouronnes, near Paris, France. She belongs to the Art Society of Hurepoix. Yvelines, Ile de France. Impassioned by the drawing and colorsfrom her young age, she devotes her time to the painting which she practices since 1992 at Etampes Art School. After having practiced many different techniques in Etampes, Brigitte is now focused in oil-base paint. Her preferred subjects are portraits linked to the music and dance but also landscapes. Recently with this new topic, she decided to paint abstract artworks. She realized sets of themes as “West Side Story Dance" and “Broken Lives". All of them are in oil-base paint and acrylic resin. She's also a “global sketcher" who makes since 2014 many drawings in her sketchbooks about travels in using inks and watercolor.
