Oscar Gauthier

Born in 1921 in the Nièvre, he graduated from Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1947 and began abstraction in 1948 to become one of the main representatives of lyrical abstraction in the immediate post-war period. personal exhibitions will be devoted to him by the avant-garde galleries of the time.
