Biography
Patrick Vinci is a French artist born in 1949.
He creates elaborated photomontages, exploiting subjects such as chaos, antagonism or distortion, surfing on the idea of presenting a dreamlike representation of micro societies that make up our modern societies.
He draws his inspiration and his stimulation from the punk-rock philosopy, which he considers an artistic opposition movement loving individual freedom, and tries to represent human behavior in a dreamlike way, and to portray the opposition between degradation and wealth, opulence and poverty.
