Graduated from the International School of Fine Arts in Lyon, where she finished with the Helène Linossier First Prize, Jeanine Combe worked in interior decoration and in advertising. Her work is done in the purest tradition of Lyonnais painting, which offers a refined mixture of pastel colours, always presented with a classical discretion, full of charm and of dreams.
Jeanine Combe knows how to touch our emotions, and finds just the right registers and harmonies of blues and ochres to express the light of the cafés and bistros, or the old quarters of Paris, of Venice or the Northern beaches. She knows equally how to seduce us through her graphic abstract compositions. Her paintings are highly appreciated internationally as well as in France. She has received numerous medals and recommendations in the Salons and private collections of the largest cities in France and other countries.
