From there, I knew that later I will "paint". I did it 30 years ago, then 20 years on large sheets on which I put wood, welded mesh ... with a limited choice of 4 colors, colors of the Basque Country, namely red, white, green and black. The formats were approximately two meters by two which gave them scale, but what I liked about this material report was that it already had a story ... For eight years I have been painting regularly on more canvases. easily exposed.
Having no formal training, this is what I saw, watched who guides my work and as I do not prohibit anything on the technical level, I advance serenely. I define myself at the same time as a "sponge", sometimes I realize to make a canvas on an impression or an event like "Luno", boat stranded in Anglet or "do not tell anyone" following the scene of the rhododendrons of the film. But most often I'm looking for ... A landscape, a color, a line, a music all vibration interests me. I speak of "sound textures" in my work and "space of breath" because the vital energy transmitted in the canvas always fascinates me.
Currently I work a lot on the subject which allows a more "interior" reading less immediate, it is the evolution of a free gesture cycle, then constrained, I believe.
