Biography
Mathieu Kifesa is an artist from Le Havre, born in 1988.
He began painting about ten years ago on different types of mediums: walls, trains and cargo freight throughout the world. Morocco, Vietnam and Europe remain his favorite spots. Self-taught and a multi-tasking artist, he is also a visual photographer.
Through his paintings Mathieu Kifesa tries to share his commitment with painting on a daily basis, and portrays it through a shortcut. His paintings are indeed a mise en abyme of his exterior pictorial practice. It's not just a fashion or a pass time, it's an ode to his everyday life.
His works have been exhibited in Paris, Deauville, Rennes, Casablanca, Abidjan and Saigon.
