Presentation

"With my work, I represent different urban compositions, plans of buildings, apartments, and different places, in which we often find ourselves passing through, without even perceiving its composition and orientation."

R. Vega was born in the Republic of El Salvador. He received training in visual arts at the National Art Center of San Salvador. Very early on, he exhibited in several countries in Latin America. After that, he practiced as an illustrator in various newspapers and magazines. However, his traveller's soul carries him through Europe and Asia. R. Vega is fascinated by the urban mass. Lover of constructions, he contemplates places of passage and colors the sections of walls and buildings on the canvas. He feels the urban landscape through the music, the noises that animate it. He thus paints a portrait of these places, like a real moment of passage captured on the canvas.
