Presentation

Cassius is a French artist who mixes traditional Chinese art with modern techniques of painting.

The expressiveness and spontaneity of gesture voluntarily reveal flaws and drips. With a very personal aesthetic, he manages to infuse a rare energy to his work, in which he pays tribute to the forces of man and animal.

His work puts the focus of attention issues on the part of the cultural heritage that humanity must retain if it does not lose its universal and collective memory.

Cassius work immortalizes the question of identity, mixing images, stories and cultures. At a time of globalization, and simultaneously the withdrawal, he questions the viewer about what really makes us men. The floor is given through the eyes sometimes offensive, sometimes hesitant, redefining a geography without borders where the individual history is connected to culture and spirituality.
