Biography
Francois Cellier is a contemporary artist born in 1958, registered at "La Maison des Artistes" in Paris. A self-taught painter, he has been exhibiting since 1993.
He discovered a passion for painting at a very young age. Firstly, through a very figurative manner with subjects like, details of a door, earthenware, a wall or a window, but landscapes as well.
As the years went by, he became confident about his work and since a few years now he has oriented himself towards refined abstract painting, henceforth using acrylic.
He lives in the South-West of France, a region which allows him to soak up the sunny energy and renew through obvious modernity, with a certain continuity in his style. He has a free style, like may artists who aren't looking for success.
