Skripte is an urban artist, born in 1986 in France.
He sees Graffiti as a way to cry out loud, protest against a fact which he wishes to denounce. It's a mural and a non-verbal jousting, just like the artist insinuates.
He began street art in 2003, beginning mainly on paper before addressing larger formats.
After studies in graphic arts, Skripte continues a training in decor painting. He gives a lot of importance to the material and doesn't hesitate to combine techniques, from oil painting to acrylic, not to mention spray painting which he does on macadam or wood. Material is key in his work and allows him to generate what he calls "emotional painting".
His models are all around the world, to begin with Turner but also Hassan Massoudy, Zao Wou not to mention Georges Mathieu. His painting is an invitation to travel. He cultivates this dynamic by increasing his encounters and collaborations.
