Biography
Jacqueline Chol is a painter born in Lyon, who studied at first fashion illustration in Lyon before attending the School of Fine Arts. Her painting demonstrates a marked preference for a subject : the woman. She mixes the art of sketch with painting to give the necessary volume to her silhouettes to make them alive, warm and sensual.
Jacqueline Chol prefers painting from live models. She gets their movement as well as their personality that marks every session of workshop. To that she adds colored textiles, the light of that particular instant, and all these elements help the artist to translate her emotions on canvas.
