Orders and disorders
The point as elementary particle
Organization, order and disorder, complexity and emergence are my principal research subjects.
Through my work, I am questioning the concept of forms. Multiplied and amplified, base element has the ability to be edited into new shapes on a superior scale.
The organic life for example, from the simplest molecules to complex structures such as DNA, cells, bodies and societies, is built upon small entities, as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. But each level of organization has its own configuration, leading to new and unique aesthetics.
I explore concepts such as "noise", inspired by the work of Henri Atlan. From noise result complexity in each level. Disorder is giving access to a higher level of independency, with as much independent laws than the level below.
Pointing in ink on paper allows this spatial exploration. Each dot acts like an atom. Multiplied and amplified, it gives me the access to explore and discover new aesthetics, new orders.
