Born in 1968, Rudyard Heaton is a French painter.

He studied at the Goldsmiths College, them began creating conceptual art. His trip to Tamagawa University led him to discover traditional Japanese painting. This experience had an effect on the artist, when he came back to Paris, he turned towards hyper-realistic figuration.

He became part of the animation world where he worked as a decorator. He has an eye for detail and detailed representation. The artist masters many techniques such as digital printing, pastel, oil and acrylic painting, in order to adapt to the subject to his best.

To create his pieces, Rudyard Heaton is inspired by the simple things surrounding him, banalities of everyday life that one doesn't notice but which makes up our environment. His aim is to bring them up, give them strength and beauty.
