Biography
Born in England, David Ash lives and works in France. He studied at the Chelsea Fine Arts then at the Royal College of Art.
A portrait painter, his practice has evolved towards the landscape since his installation in the Pays de la Loire region. Between hyperrealism and abstraction, he uses batik as well as complex motifs. His compositions invite contemplation.
He has exhibited at the Chelsea Arts Club London and the Thumb Gallery London.
