In my childhood spent in Gabon - I was born in Mayumba in 1970 - I liked to accompany my brothers fishing, an activity in which I happily participated. This is where my passion for fish came from.
Today, that passion is still intact, with one difference, the carbon fiber fishing rod equipped with a reel has replaced the piece of bamboo and the rudimentary nylon line. And when I'm not stalking jacks and other tarpon, I dedicate myself to painting full time. It was as an autodidact that I turned to art. From a young age, I love to draw and put colors on my creations. Through this, I express what I have deep inside me
in a language which, unlike writing, is universal. My first major major exhibition was on International Women's Day in
UNESCO, in 2011 in Paris, where I had the honor of representing black Africa through Gabon. I mainly use acrylic paint, the result of a certain modernity and which allows me to express rapid emotions. I like above all to play with shapes, colors and each of my paintings evokes a moment, perpetuates a moment without freezing it.
In each of my paintings, I try that my line animates the representation, that the interaction of the shapes with the colors and the precision of the brush offer something unique in terms of light. So, the colors clash, juxtapose, blend and the compositions come to life.
