Raymond Poulet

Raymond Poulet was born in Paris in 1934. He did a training at the School of Decorative Arts and Fine Arts of Paris. At first he was attracted by abstract art, which he then combined with figurative art. An architecture of lines and oblique lights give his compositions a rhythm that is almost musical. In front of his work we feel the same impression of strength and peace as in front of the artist, himself. He has won numerous prizes for his work, including the Grand Prize of the city of New York and the Golden Palms, promotion Queen Fabiola. Officer of the Cultural and Artistic Merit of the city of Paris prize from the R.F.A, prize from the Netherlands, a prize from Portugal at the European Biennial in Nice.
