Born in Angers in 1976
1994: Scientific Baccalaureate option Plastic Arts
1994-1999: Studies of Engineer Designer (UTC Compiègne) and University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA)
1997: Studies in Fine Arts, exhibition and award-winning canvas in 1997 (Patrick Murphy's Award, Philadelphe, USA)
1999 - 2012: Automotive Designer (CAD) for Peugeot, then Aston-Martin
Production of concepts and graphic material for the automobile, inspiration videos, sketches, 3D models, renderings, animations, customization of colors and materials.
Since 2012, works for a large jewelry house (products, processes, and shops)
Creative direction of innovation projects, and transformation projects, management of transversal teams and production of graphic and physical supports
Production of large abstract canvases since 2012
Bestiary production since 2016
Artistic approach :
My education, then my engineering studies, brought me an endless curiosity and fascination for the beauty, ingenuity and complexity of nature, from the infinitely large to the infinitely small. My background as an automotive designer has reinforced my understanding of lines, shapes and their balance, and has given me a taste for the importance of detail. This amazed gaze nourishes me on a daily basis, and helps me to propose works that invite the viewer to come closer and look very closely at the details of the material, the textures, or the clues hidden in the sub-layers. Imaginary stories roam there, and everyone can invent their own story.
In our increasingly digital and virtual world, painting and sharing my paintings are opportunities to stay in touch with the physical world of our original emotions. Rediscover the time of contemplation, dreams, escape, and peace.
Let's not forget to take the time. If every detail counts to compose a picture, each day also counts to compose a life.
