Mireille Stuckens is a French artist born in 1967. After studying business she obtained a master degree in Fine Arts.
Originally from Calais, she moved to Lyon at first, where she taught in a private studio for five years. She then settled in Albens in Savoy where she opened another studio, which counts today with 80 students, where she teaches the different techniques of Fine Arts.
Women have always been her favorite subject and it is present in each one of her pieces. She uses different techniques such as oil paint applied with a knife, the integration of materials and coatings in chiaroscuro portraits as well as a soft illumination and colors to highlight the silhouettes.
