Born in the south of France in Nîmes in 1977, he now lives in one of the largest cultural metropolises in Europe in Marseille. After a Masters in STAPS and a few years of teaching, he turned to author photography in 2009.
Coming from a family of amateur photographers, he participated very young in the work of development and expansion in his parents' photo lab. Starting out in film photography with a Fujica, he went digital in 2008.
Inspired at first by the work of Robert Doisneau, his photos are part of the current of humanist photography. Subsequently, the various works of Henry Cartier Bresson, known for the precision and the graphics of his compositions, will enrich his work.
In 2009, he presented his work to the public for the first time at an exhibition in a restaurant in Aix en Provence, then in a gourmet restaurant in Marseille.
Encouraged by a positive reception from the public and the sale of prints, he pushes for the first time the doors of a gallery in 2010 and meets GAT, painter, who manages his own gallery "GAT-ART" in Marseille.
Adept at graphic and refined compositions, his work mainly in black and white, is built according to spontaneous and unexpected situations, preferring to capture the present moment to staged situations. In true autodidact, the topics approached or his choices of framing are guided only by his emotions and the energy which emerges from them.
Not imposing any theme, the subtlety of black and white can direct him just as well towards travel photographs as close to his home on the Castellet racing circuit.
