Biography
Tania Koegler-Weilguny was born in Mulhouse, Alsace, in a family where art has always held a prominent place, between a father who graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Mulhouse and a mother photographer.
His youth was thus marked by lively discussions around art, enriching encounters with numerous artists, visits to European museums dedicated to founding artists or the observation of his father in the process of painting. in oil and watercolor or clay.
Self-taught, it was not until 2008 that Tania Koegler-Weilguny really started.
This is where she realizes that she has nourished all these years of observation and discussion by forging her eye.
Many trips around the world, especially in eastern Africa or the United States, have also influenced her in terms of the often warm colors or the themes chosen.
She then took part in Denis Ansel's workshop at the Quai (Mulhouse Art School), where she perfected herself in the portrait technique.
