Ronan-Pol Morel

The goal of my work is to find consistency in shapes and colors, I look for good combinations of shapes, I mainly play on depth, light and I am also very picky on color harmonies. 

It can happen to me to paint or draw entirely figurative works and to enjoy them, for sure. But I find an incomparably greater accomplishment in the elaboration and the realization of abstract compositions: it is an approach which suits me better, because my goal is not to represent, but to express. The result of my work is found in tables that can be exposed "in all directions", vertical, horizontal. 

Graphically, I have the possibility of playing shapes and colors endlessly, freely, or by recreating my own rules, this, generally on large canvases. A new artistic dimension then appears: mine "
