Valery Bagaev

Valery Bagaev is a painter whose style belongs to fantastic realism.

He uses canvas as a support for his works, but also wooden planks and various everyday objects (suitcases, furniture, etc.). He draws his inspiration from scenes of everyday life, but his imagination allows him to develop them and make them follow a fantastic line, creating cities or scenes of life in extraordinary universes.

Valery, who was born in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, currently lives in Nizhny Novgorod.
