Fabrice Roussel Born January 18, 1962 in Rambouillet 78 Yvelines
Unclassifiable, nomadic, singular, approaching art brut, this is how Fabrice Roussel is qualified. He uses diagonal paths using shoe polish, and cigarette ash. More recently, I adopted acrylic, ink, felt, collage, and also materials from nature. For the supports, everything suits me, paper, cardboard, wood, fabrics, canvas, dry bones, shells and marine mineral materials. His inspirational subjects are words, a conversation, a feeling, a situation experienced, an emotion and his waking dreams.
