Biography
François Cognet was born in 1991 and took drawing classes from the age of 10 until the age of 17. After high school, he joined the Ecole Superior des Métiers de l'image of Bordeaux. After the beginning of the school year 2015, he has been working in a Fine Arts workshop in Bordeaux.
This young artist surprises and seduces with his collections of big apes. No matter the combination of techniques that he uses (oil, acrylic, charcoal, chalk), his pieces impress for their size and their realism. A lot can be seen in the eyes of the primates which testify that the artist has managed to infuse a part of life in his work.
