Biography
Atid Zaïm was born in Morocco in 1956.
After two years of university studies in mathematics, he joined the Clermont Ferrand School of Fine Arts for only two years.
The success of his first exhibition in 1988 opened up possibilities for him to exhibit in galleries in Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux (to name but a few), art centers such as the "Cri d'art" in Amnéville and public places. like the general council of Clermont Ferrand, the Amac in Chamalières ...
In 2005, he created his own gallery in the spa town of Royat in Puy-de-Dôme. A great opportunity is offered to him in March 2020 to settle in the heart of Clermont Ferrand.
Through his palette, Atid Zaïm is part of a continuous movement in the twentieth century. Fauves, Expressionists, Pop-artists and many others who use color in a raw, violent, contrasting way.
For its bias towards reality, and to some extent in its manner, it is akin to both the new realism and the new figuration.
