Biography
I am an Architect by profession and a Painter by passion, by instinct, by necessity Architecture and Painting… Alchemy of two complementarities.
The search for emotion is constant for me. It is about symbols, it is about language… my absolute requirement of life. My paintings are slowly built in my imagination, largely served by Color and its creative immensity, by light.
I don't sketch. I approach my canvas when the slow intellectual or instinctive gestation finally imposes itself in drive. Painting is a vital necessity and the experience of deep joy. It is also my protection… although it is totally intimate…
So, like a tightrope walker I throw myself on the wire and open myself up to view without any certainty.
It is a magical, almost mystical and perpetually renewed journey during which I feel as much free as a prisoner.
