Biography
Sensitive to art since childhood, Laurent 'Vida' Carcone soon embarked on a research project into letters and the alphabet, which took him as far as 3D illusion, under the influence of the German and Dutch schools of the 90s.
In 2006, he turned to abstraction.
He multiplies supports and techniques, and deepens his relationship with volumes, sometimes evoking architecture or floating bodies.
In 2012, he began creating what he describes as Géométrie Poétique, a form of mixed-media art that blends sculpture, photography and colorization using image software.
