Nal-Vad

A Franco-Gabon artist, born in 1954, he oscillates between his two origins and three disciplines.... Nal-Vad, is a painter, sculptor and photographer. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts, the artist sails with ease between the eras and civilizations. After a long experience in advertising (from 1975 to 1989), he developed a critical look about it. The artist lives in Paimpol.

"Not from here, or from anywhere else . I play with metis. My work!! Harmonize my differences..... and maintain a separation between my thoughs and my actions" as the artist says, he cultivates his differences in complete harmony.... with an open spirit. In a perpetual quest for freedom from any obstacle, the artist plays as much with painting, sculpture and photography as with the eras and civilizations. His creations resemble bouquets of ethnic inspiration with perfumes of scape.

He has been part of 80 exhibitions, among them, an exhibition at the GNG gallery in Paris(2007), at the Event Gallery in Antwerp (2008), at the Beaux-Arts Gallery in Eindhoven (2011)..... The museums also celebrate the work of Nal-vad (Museum of Fine Arts of Chartres in 2010, Museum of Fine Arts of LeTouquet in 2007). His pieces are exposed as well in group exhibitions (Festival Art Negre in Dakar in 2010, Puls'art -Le Mans in 2010, Espace Miessa in Poland in 2008, Contemporary Art Biennale in Saint-Brieux in 2007).
