Presentation

Anne Eliayan and Christian Pic, both visual artists, have been co-signing their entire production (photography, painting, videos, visual installations, writing...) for the past three years.

They propose their photos within the maximum limit of 30 copies, all formats combined, which challenges them to regularly renew their creation.

They have a manufacturing secret. When you are in a restaurant and you like the dish, you don't ask the restaurant owner for the recipe, so don't try to know their technique, it's a waste of time. To give you a hint: each photo is reworked like a painting.

LIFE IS BLUE: Anne Eliayan and Christian Pic's journey to the land of blue brings together a work of photography, painting, visual arts and videos.

An introspective adventure: This work, realized during the period of confinement, is a response to world events, a dive into the great blue, the search for the essence of a universal color, which unites humanity, the color of the deep, of space, of the oceans. It is a reflection on the meaning of life.

The works presented gave rise to a book in which we find the imaginary of the two artists through their installations, their iconographic representation and their texts.

One of their photo "Veil of fragile light" will be presented at the Venice Arsenal in March and April 2021.
