Biography

Animal sculptor, David Potisek was born in 1968 in Reims. Artist self-taught, and dentist by profession, man master the art of technique by enamel or clay. Its workshop is located in Champagne.

His main inspirations are based on the notion of the refined. First influenced by Rodin and Claudel, Jean Harp, Brancusi, David Potisek feeds his curiosity towards more contemporary artists, such as the designer Ora-ïto.

Each work is made of clay. The earth passes the doors of the foundry Paumelle to obtain a bronze. Its bronzes have a stylized appearance that claims an artistic work "all in roundness, nuance, without the least roughness ... The sculpture brings me an elegance of curves". His animals celebrate grace and elegance.

His personal exhibitions followed one another, as lately at the Champs Elysées autumn fair ... He was crowned with numerous prizes: Salon des Artistes Français at the Grand Palais, giant prize of the Beaux Arts, grand prize of art at the international fair of Sculptures of Rambouillet ...
