Biography

From a young age, I felt a clear attraction, admiration and great fascination for the artistic world. It's a compliment from my teacher about one of my drawings that gave me the audacity to dare to believe in it, and to choose this path. Later, I dared to cross the doors of the plastic arts faculty despite family reluctance. This experience allowed me to develop my drawing skills and to acquire an openness and a critical mind. After the license I turned to teaching but I decided to devote myself to creation. My paintings are more and more figurative and in perpetual search for harmony and balance. The subjects impose themselves on me through research and pictorial experiences: The soul, the trees ... I like to use the glazing technique learned a few years ago which makes the colors transparent and mysterious and gives several dimensions to the table thanks to overlays of patterns or natural elements.
