Biography
Jonas Bournat, better known by his pseudonym Sun7, is a French urban artist who was born in 1977. He discovered the world of New York graffiti in the beginning of the 90s, and started then to tag the walls of his city. He now shares his time between Lyon and Paris.
Sun7 draws his inspiration for his creations from action painting, Arabic calligraphy and Latin tattoos. His work focuses around a word, letters and calligraphy. The image and the word are then subtly connected in a collection of colors. Poetry interferes with the heart of his art and the streets of the big metropolises. Sun7 uses different supports such as canvases, metal and panels.
