Biography

Antoine de Tyssandier, French artist born in 1991, living in Paris, has been working on canvas, first with four hands, then now solo. Passionate about drawing and architecture since he was young, he approached art professionally, first with fashion, to then switch to painting and electronic music - another great passion in his life - these two arts interact and influence each other.

Between dystopia and futuristic dream, his paintings are rooted in an interzone, a virtual and frozen nature where masses, half organic, half robotic, operate as data flows in the middle of sequential voids.
His work is based on the principle of pareidolia, the human brain's propensity to see elements of its own imagination in indeterminate forms. Antoine de Tyssandier draws on a surrealist landscape dream to contrast it with the contemporary digital daze, a kind of hypothetical future, where the dream freezes on a blocked screen background.
