Jean-Claude Bligny

Jean-Claude Bligny was born in Burgundy in the department of Saône-et-Loire. Jean-Claude BLIGNY is in his art.

He is certainly one of the rare permanent painters in several important galleries to be able to jointly distribute the two essential parts of his art there.

Both urban landscapes and bouquets present the same bursts of nuance. It is another way of magnifying the universe, another life towards the light. In my paintings, the energies circulate around an invisible center, that of an infinite vanishing point on the horizon line.

Bligny wanted to represent cities encountered during his travels showing that the light shines in everything and that we must see it in the most everyday events.
