Presentation

LOg is a project born in 2014, on the initiative of two artists from the abstraction, Nash and Nicolas Maffre. Nash is a self-taught artist living in Paris. Nicolas Maffre for his part studied at the Beaux-Arts in the capital.

However, it is a figurative project that the two artists offer us. Together, they develop a minimalist universe, a kind of silent theater that invites contemplation. Indeed, their works depict deserted streets, isolated houses, empty rooms, lost roads. The spectator is placed in expectation, and time lengthens, inviting us to imagine the next moment. The two artists provide what looks very much like the beginning of a script, offering a simple and subtle staging.
