Tom Alexis Robert was born in St-Nazaire in 1992.
It was after working on his passion for Fauves as an animal trainer that he left this job in 2017 to devote himself full-time to his other passions.
He discovered aluminum wire by chance and created "Indian Head" in 2012. It was not until 2018 that he started as a sculptor and founded L'Art et la Matière.
Tom Alexis Robert had the chance to appreciate Art very early on, to carefully observe the great works of yesterday. They have always transmitted a direct emotion to him.
It is through the colors, shapes and details that the artist wants us to appreciate or not the work visually, whether abstract or figurative.
He thinks beauty or ugliness can be just as powerful as ideology. It is in all this that he draws his inspiration, he likes that we can appreciate his works or not just by discovering them.
