I look for the unexpected. I always venture into the unknown. When I paint, I chase away everything that is already seen, known, predictable. Movement, breath and flow, I must surprise myself.

Biography

Woman artist in action, Bleue Roy devotes herself to explorations and crossings. Curious and insatiable, she travels the world, opening workshops wherever she finds herself.

Since the 1980s, she has exhibited, solo or in groups, in various galleries and art fairs: in France, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Canada and the USA.

Bleue Roy currently works in Marseille.

What is his style? She calls it: Jubilant Abstraction. The works of Bleue Roy radiate. She gives to see. They are generous, powerful and cheeky.

The artist likes to destabilize the spectator before seducing him. Bleue Roy never lingers. A few accomplished canvases are enough to restore the essence of an experience.

In his own words: "I paint what I don't know. I need to surprise myself".
