Biography
Tamar Darchiashvili is a Georgian artist born in 1972 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1996 she graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of printmaking. In 1997-99 she completed an internship at the Sergo Kobuladze Engraving Studio, under the guidance of Gogi Tsereteli. Tamar Darchiashvili is a multimedia artist. Her fields of activity are: graphic drawing, etching, installation, video, collage, sculptural jewelry, book illustration, enamel technique. Since 1999 she has been participating in local and international exhibitions. She has received awards for the best jewelry design at international exhibitions.
