Biography
Born in southern Germany, Goeppert is also well acquainted with the San Francisco Bay Area after having lived there for a number of years. Nature, especially preserving it, is high on her life's list of priorities. Needless to say, it is a source of inspiration for her art. “Life is a largely subjective experience, but that subjective experience is my bridge to the objective world. And it's the synthesis of the two that I am trying to capture in my artwork."
Karin enjoys experimenting and giving her works an individual expression. Her subjects cover semi-realistic nature, somewhat utopian, and non-objective/abstract art. Karin works with acrylics, mixed with oil and soft pastels, spray paint, graphite, and charcoal or ink.
Karin Goeppert is considered an emerging artist, who has been featured in a few solo exhibitions in Germany.
