Sven Pfrommer

Sven Pfrommer, always a border crosser between photography, painting and printmaking. Sven Pfrommer gives more or less the one or other art form the upper hand. His artworks are often photographs taken on his journeys which he combines with graphic fragments and painted areas back in his studio. Sven Pfrommer was born in Berlin, studied visual communication at the University of Hildesheim and earned the distinction of a British Council Scholar to study at The Royal College of Art in London. While working for several years as an art director and photographer, he has also spent the last 15 years focusing on the international art market. He established his own gallery for contemporary photography in the art capital Berlin a decade ago. Sven Pfrommer has also been teaching photography, art and design at various universities for 7 years.

Sven Pfrommer's work has been exhibited in 4 continents and published in United States, Canada, Netherlands and Germany. The Walter Thiemann price has been awarded to him in 1996. Sven Pfrommer has done commission works for the car industry, fashion industry, several hospitality and clinic projects.
