Nana Kwesi Agyare Ansah

Professional Ghanaian artist, has been a pioneer in abstract art for over two decades.

Kwesi Agyare uses various forms of media and materials to create visual images of the dynamics of life in contemporary Ghana. It received critical acclaim locally and internationally.

“Fundamentally, my innovation and creativity are driven by the things I see, my feelings, and trends in the art industry. I am beginning to express my views and opinions through my colors by presenting various themes that explore the reality of life in Ghana".

Kwesi Agyare produced works which are now in the homes of private collectors, hotels, offices, libraries and also works featured in a popular Nollywood film, 'The Perfect Picture'.

Its mix of bold and cool bright colors that are effectively interspersed with dark colors makes it unique. Kwesi Agyare has held exhibitions across the world, in Nigeria, Dubai, South Africa, Zambia, and recently held exhibitions in the United States for 'The Year of Return' 2019, in Cleveland, Ohio. Her travels transformed her work even more and gave exposure to the elegant beauty and delicate nature of human sign languages, as well as cross-cultural social life through paintings of beautiful African symbols.
