Marie Aimer: Painter

Born April 19, 1975, originally from Marie-Galante, Marie Aimer left her island in 1985 to return to Paris and devote herself entirely to her life as an artist painter.

Marie Aimer mainly uses the technique of oil on canvas with a knife and thus plays with thicknesses and highlights. “I paint in real time, in love with colors and in love with art. Colors are life, oil, my soul, the knife, my separation, the canvas, my land ... ".

Through multiple encounters, Marie Aimer takes us to discover the world by subtly combining colors, shapes and reliefs. She brings her creations to life through the eyes of beings from all continents and makes them eternal in the form of souls.

“My creations are read from bottom to top with a journey of souls that will mark out time. There is a passage from dawn to light in full color to ascend to the city of knowledge in order to access the promontory from which the light comes: unity, reunification, transmission, fraternity, knowledge, love. My creations represent an initiatory journey, from sunrise to divine lighting, embellished with a hint of alchemy ... ".
