Born in Reunion in 1972. Graduated from the College of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, France.
In the art of Lionel Lauret, science and innocence are combined in equal proportions and one can feel the undeniable tenderness for the figures that remain in him. It reveals that families and leads us into a playful universe which is often interactive and metaphorical and which looks at its time. His painting work is mostly done in large format.
Primitively inspired, his characters catalyze emotions, desires, confrontations between man and gods, and therefore lead us to question the emotional and passionate relationships of his fellow Earthlings.
Its installations are privileged meeting places where magic and imagination, the inclination for play, dreams and poetry intertwine.
