Biography
Ziv Tidhar's artistic career began in the 1970s on his parents' living room carpet in a small desert town. His creativity blossomed early on, building with Lego and modeling clay, painting with watercolors and oil pencils, and experimenting with mixed media using his mother's makeup. After his service at the IDF radio station (1994-1999), he continued his education at the Jerusalem Academy of Art and Design, where he studied architecture.
For 20 years, Ziv has worked as an independent architect specializing in living spaces. He is also an interdisciplinary artist, creator and curator, previously associated with the renowned “Gross" gallery in Tel Aviv. In addition to his artistic activities, he has worked as an independent journalist and commercial voice artist.
Ziv lives in northern Tel Aviv, where every room in his apartment serves as his studio, day and night. He shares his life with his partner and their beautiful dog.
