Giulio Orioli

Giulio Orioli was born in Nova Siri province of Matera, Italy. His debut on the Italian art scene dates back to the 1980s. A multifaceted artist,he is attracted to experimentation. His works interpret,with a disenchanted look at the spirit of our time: they investigate the codes of the civilization of technology in which man's horizons are normalized and increasingly reduced to mere functionality. He has been exhibiting since 1982 in galleries, foundationsand museums in Italy and abroad.
