Fusion between tradition of painting, innovation of street art and the dynamism of punk rock!

Biography

Francesco NEO, born in 1985 in Milan, Italy, is a contemporary artist whose work merges classical painting techniques with the visual language of street art. He trained as a stage designer in Milan from 2003 to 2008, an experience that continues to influence the theatrical and dynamic quality of his compositions. Since 2010, he has been living and working between Nuremberg, Germany, and Milan.

NEO's artistic practice is characterized by a bold fusion of materials and styles. Combining oil paint, colored pencils, chalk, and spray paint, he creates expressive, layered works that blur the boundaries between fine art and urban culture. He describes his approach as “Neo Super Pop Art," a contemporary reinterpretation of Pop Art infused with street aesthetics and a vibrant, graphic sensibility.

His works often feature striking figures, iconic motifs, and energetic compositions, reflecting influences from popular culture, advertising, and contemporary media. Through this hybrid visual language, NEO creates unique pieces that are both visually immediate and conceptually rich, positioning him within a new generation of artists redefining figurative painting in a globalized, image-driven world.
