DARIO TOGNON (1936 - 2008) was an italian architect and designer.

Biography

Dario Tognon (1936 - 2008) was an italian architect and designer. He graduated in 1964 in Venice, having Franco Albini, an important exponent of Italian Rationalism, as his teacher. Dario Tognon, who taught for several years at City University, also worked in design, creating the Dania lamp for Artemide in '69. In 1965 he founded Studio Celli Tognon in Trieste, together with his classmates from the University of Venice: Luciano and Carlo Celli. In the mid-1990s the studio closed and the architect continued his activity alone.
