Biography

Selena Leardini is an Italian artist, born in 1971.
She graduated from the Art school in Vicenza, she specialized as a graphic and dress-designer. Nonetheless she considers herself to be self-taught.

Her first works were primarily mural paintings, thus improving her skills with acrylic colors. A few years ago she joined the Pop-Surrealist group of artist, and was able to participate in several Italian and international exhibitions.

Her "Noir" works are inspired by the theme of "lost childhood" and then rediscovered on old photos of little girls and boys, immortalized through vintage poses. The use of ancient frames and her attention to detail give her a unique and original style.
