Biography
Born in Japan in 1990, Yukimasa Ida is a painter whose work oscillates between abstract and realistic dreamlike depictions of nostalgia and utopia. In 2019, the artist received his Masters in oil painting from the University of Arts in Tokyo, and has since continued to produce works which examine the subtleties of human existence through vibrant hues and a subversive pictorial technique.
The artist has exhibited his work across Japan, as well as at several galleries in London and over Europe.
