Biography
Artist. He has been the president of Tokyo University of the Arts since 2022, from which he graduated. Born in Gifu City in 1958. He won the 30th ADC Grand Prize in 1983 and received the Mainichi Design Grand Prize in 1999. In 2015, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) awarded him its Artistic Encouragement Award.
